The story of Van der Heijden Yachts starts in 1993 when Ronald Van der Heijden ends his job as propulsion engineer at the Royal Dutch Navy to start his yard for luxury yachts. At first in steel but today mostly in aluminium. mostly in aluminium. Since then this still privatly owned yard created an impressing trackrecord of over 400 yachts for clients all over the world
